The two-day summit —organized with the support of the United Kingdom Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office— will be held in Yerevan on 5-6 March 2026 at the Double Tree by Hilton, both days starting at 13:00.
The event is designed to facilitate the exchange of expertise and practical experience with leading specialists from the United Kingdom, the United States, Sweden, Hungary, Latvia, and Armenia. Sessions will examine the concept of deterrence, the transformative steps required to build credible deterrent capacity, and the imperative of cultivating a new generation of strategic thinkers—aimed at strengthening national sovereignty while reinforcing genuinely democratic and resilient governance.
The summit will explore the following core themes, alongside additional sessions addressing closely related areas of strategic importance:
- Shifting Power Dynamics in the West and Its Impact on the South Caucasus
- Performative vs. Transformative Foreign policy
- Water, Energy, Environment, Critical Infrastructure and Supply Chains: Security Risks and Economic Consequences
- Future Thought Leaders: Transforming the National Security Ecosystem
- Defending the Mind: Combating Social Engineering and Building Psychological Resilience
The summit will convene participants drawn from government, academia, international expert communities, NGOs, civil society organizations, and civil defense stakeholders—with the objective of broadening and democratizing Armenia’s security discourse.
